Very sad all this Shunda. If you were a Gaiaian, you'd be wondering why the earth was shaking and belching like this. Is she trying to tell us something?
It is extremely sad. I don't know much about the Gaia thing, but I think there a definitely a lot of questions that need to be asked. Our modern world has a body count, one has to ask is our way of life sustainable? and worth the horrendous cost we are collectively paying in lives and resources?.
This is written at the Brunner mine site memorial near Greymouth, it is sadly very relevant 114 years later.
